Well last Monday's Training session according to Moony was "f*ucking awesome" and for those that attended training we'd probably all agreed. During the storm, with sheet rain pounding, the handling skills were put to the test and it was blatantly obvious that the skills training is paying off.
On a sadder note. OC's have had their 1st serious injury with Will Jones picking up a broken leg in the warm-up whilst playing crazy horse. The tallest guy in the club proceeded to jump on the 2nd tallest guy in the club, Dan, and whilst Will was slapping Dan's ass to go faster, Dan fell and Will proceeded to clean break his fibula....

On Monday, 28th July, we will begin our set-piece training. It is therefore essential all forwards attend this session to make it worthwhile.
Backs - dont worry, there will be plenty for you to do as well. Even Somerscales and his pink socks have threatened to make an appearance!

I think its safe to say that Saturdays trip to Wales was extremely challenging but also incredibly enjoyable, thanks goes to Richard and the players that attended…. bring on Colorado! After arriving on mass convoy to the dunes Richard set about “breaking us” as he was once broken on the very same grain of sand many moons ago during his illustrious pro days. After over an hour of what can only be described as voluntary torture in the unforgiving Welsh sun everyone was more than ready for a well deserved pint. Fortunately the Denning bro’s and Millsey managed to go to the wrong pub!
If you would like to see the fun and games that were had over the weekend then you can view them on the websites gallery . Images supplied by Owen.

WFT!!! I hear your response to this club article.
It is with a sickness in our stomach that we have to inform you that one of the OC players has been nominated this month in Company magazine as one of the 50th Sexiest Bachelors in Britain.
Our own 2nd Row, Will Jones, has, some how, made it into the list. He is now in competition with these 50 other lads to become #1.
Will lists his artibutes as:
- "I had sex on Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol, despite cameras and security guards"
- "Beauty is in all forms, I don't have a 'type'."
- "Women have so much passion. They get excited about everything - from lunch to shoes!"
- "I got stabbed trying to protect my ex. A gang was attacking us and I pulled them off her. Disappointingly, I only needed three sitches."
To vote for will text COMP46 to 85088.

Next Saturday, 19th July, we are heading over the bridge to find some sand. Once we have found it, Rich will show us what life was like as a professional rugby player! This is a ground-breaking move for the club, on oversea’s (well…..over some water) pre-season training trip is another sign of how far we have come. If the numbers are good, and the day is a success, the hills of Colorado are planned for next year! However, you have to attend on the 19th to qualify for the next summer…..that’s the deal! The trip is open to all players of all levels of fitness, so please make the effort to attend. Those players currently searching for an excuse (you know who you are!) are actually the one’s who will benefit the most.
The plan is leave the school at 9am, and once are legs have been sufficiently stretched, head back to Bristol for some bonding of the liquid variety.
Please confirm your attendance asap to Owen (07739022977), Grant (07730517372) or Steve F (07853016248).
